Designated Broker and licensed for over 40 years, Don is a well known agriculture/educational leader in Northeast Missouri.
Mr. LaRue brings to the team at SRE an in-depth knowledge of farms, sales and management offering seasoned counsel to both buyers and sellers.
With a 30+ year career instructing Vocational Agriculture, Mr. LaRue was instrumental in creating the Monroe City Young Farmers Chapter (Agri-Leaders) and remains active within the Agri-Business Industry in the State of Missouri. Don is the owner of Northeast Missouri Farm Management Services which has been providing agriculture management services in Northeastern Missouri for more than 45 years. As well, Mr. LaRue holds the position of President of the LaRue Insurance Agency, Inc. that began providing all lines of insurance in 1972.
Mr. LaRue is more than aware of city governmental affairs, as a past alderman for the City of Monroe City, current President of Ralls County Mutual Insurance Company, as well as an active member of the Monroe City Disciples of Christ Church serving as an adult educator and church board member. Mr. LaRue is a past president and board member of the Mark Twain Board of REALTORS® . Don has also served his community as past president of the Monroe City Development Board.
He and his wife, Frankie have been active members of the Monroe City area all but 5 years of their lives. Columbia was home for a short time during Don's education at the University of Missouri and his first teaching position was in LaGrange, Missouri, then back to Monroe City for the duration.
